Affogato has a royal pedigree of many of the industry greats. His bloodlines are comprised of some very old lines that are tried and true producers along with the addition of some of the very best of the Chilean llama lines.
By our newest male we purchased from Rain Dance Ranch Llamas, Val has far exceeded our wildest expectations by winning Best of Show all but two times. Additionally, he is so friendly and sweet a kid can walk him. We have been using him for our hospice therapy work as well.
The dam of of this woolly beauty is our JNK Huaycool's Rosabella. Born on our farm, Rosabella is one of our most successful show, performance and therapy llamas we have produced. She is an ALSA and ILR Halter Champion and ILR Performance Champion. Additionally, she is a Complex Registered Therapy Llama with Pet Partners. Rosabella is one of the sweetest and kindest llamas we own besides Marisco. Her nickname is "The dog" because of her puppy dog friendly attitude. Rosabella's first three full sibling sons by Marisco all won in halter at their first shows. The first born full sibling Rustamone is an ILR Halter Champion. The 2022 half sibling Vercelli took Overall Reserve Best of Show Male his first show and a Grand Champion in Fleece-On. Vercelli's shorn fleece won three Best of Shows. The 2022 male JNK Marisco's Ascari is a finished ILR Halter and Fleece Champion and a keeper at JNK. Also, a best in show in fleece and halter. Ascari is a registered Pet Partners therapy llama. Maternal grandsire is Huaycool (*Huaycho x *Heylee) who was purchased at the Hinterland dispersal in 2010 for use on our Eagle and Marisco daughters. Huaycool was an ALSA Halter ROM & Champion and producer of numerous halter and performance winners. He also produced many Pet Partners Registered Therapy Llamas and was so gentle a two year old could lead him. Our Huaycool offspring have won top honors in halter, performance and fleece. Ours are therapy llamas too!
The maternal Grandmother to this male was our very best producing woolly female Bros Normandie. Normandie (formerly owned by Bauernheim Llamas) created halter and performance champions every time she gave birth. She also made three Pet Partners Complex Registered Therapy Llamas too! Normandie was a Legend's Rammas granddaughter, which is the same line that gave us Isle Eagle (the top show llama of all time). Her sire was an English import named *Union Jack. Normandie's Produce of Dam and Production Pair (2 offspring from the same dam) entries won nearly every time they were entered. Her descendants have won top honors in fleece as well. dessert made by pouring a shot of hot espresso over a scoop of vanilla gelato or ice cream. The word affogato means "drowned" in Italian, a reference to the ice cream being "drowned" in coffee. The contrast of hot and cold, and bitter and sweet, makes it a popular after-dinner treat.

Ipasha (Eye-Posh-Ah) is a beautiful and short coated classic female from elite and unrelated all around packers, drivers, show and classic llamas!
This young female's dam Razz, is a 3rd generation packer line female. Our friends Mark and Lori were no longer breeding and at almost age 14 they sold her to us. We were all unsure what that would look like breeding a 14 year old maiden. To our delight she settled within the month and into her new life here at JNK. Everyone that comes to our farm comments on how beautiful Razz is and we agree. As a bonus, she was loved and handled making her so nice to deal with. Razz has packed, ties out and is easy to deal with. She comes from a long line of proven packers, drivers and all around nice classic llamas. We dragged Razz out to her first show at age 15.5 and she pulled a grand in a classic female class with a full division!
Ipasha's sire Cayetano is by a PLTA Master Packer (MPL Sky Rocket) and out of one of our very best producing classic females (Rocky Mountain Sunshine). Grandma produced many of our keeper herd animals and was a show and regional champion winner in halter. Her sire (great grandsire to this baby) was the great, Rocky Mountain Jester who was a packer, driver and all around llama. Great grandma, Bett's Supaya lived to be 24 and was upright and still going strong until the end. Supaya hailed from some of the Redwood Llamas original pack lines. Cayetano is a finished ILR Halter Champion with many grands to his name! He is also a proven and amazing pack llama that does therapy work in end stage hospice. Now, he is driving as well. At age 13 Cay entered novice performance and won two novice champions out of 32 animals. He was also Best of Show fleece on and double Grand Champion Classic Male at the same show. The next 2024 Show he won senior youth performance with a special young man and double Best of Show Male. Cayetano just keeps getting better and better with age!
The Grandsire of Ipasha is Robbie D and he was on our list of lines we wanted to add to our classic herd. He resided in the Lolo Creek herd pack program in Montana and was a proven packer. Some of his offspring reside in other pack programs around the country. Grand dam Boogie Woogie was a proven packer and driver as well. Great grand dam was a packer and driver as well. The great grandsire to this baby was Jim Logan's driving/halter/performance llama Apollo One. One of the original ALSA Champions. Suffice to say, the dam side of this male is a long line of proven working llamas!
This is a genetic powerhouse for anyone who does cool things with llamas. Her 2022 big sister Vezzie is turning out to be a very cool and beautiful girl too! Vezzie won a reserve grand in halter and placed well in novice performance at her first show. The 2023 full sister Toscana has already won in halter/performance and shows the same calm and reliable personality of her big sister Vezzie. Everyone that meets these two girls, loves them. The 2024 male full sibling Wrangell has the same steady common sense attitude that his two sisters have.

Lituya (La-Tea-Ah) Toviah's fourth baby and Huxley's 7th. One of the few JNK x JNK breeding crosses as well. We owned all the grandparents in this pairing and showed 3/4 of them. This young female is special and completely unreleated to most of the overused packing lines. She also has spots to boot!
Lituya's sire Huxley is a mellow classic male that is Pet Partners complex registered for therapy work with two handlers. Huxley's pedigree is llama royalty in the packing world and his dam came from the famed commercial packing operation Redwood Llamas in Colorado. His maternal grandsire is Clancy who won nearly every professional running event with llamas. To the point that it was written up in Sports Illustrated. Additionally, his maternal great grandsire is the famous Oliver Twists. Huxley offspring are already winning Best of Shows in halter and fleece. They also are driving, doing therapy work and winning in performance. His first offspring is already an ALSA Halter Champion too!
JNK Tobias's Toviah is one of our keeper classic Toby daughters and the dam of of this young female. We picked a good one to keep as Toviah has won nearly every halter class she has been entered in and is a finished ILR Halter Champion. Toviah ended 2019 as Best in Show Female for the OFFF & Western Championship Show. She also was OFFF & WCS Best in Show Fleece On. Would you believe that Toviah has won Best of Show Fleece twice? An unheard of feat for a classic llama.
CTL Sulu was one of the kindest and calmest llamas you could ever meet. As the grandsire of this young female, she has his steady and sweet attitude. Sulu was a very reliable commercial packer in Wyoming prior to coming to our farm. The size, bone and substance of Sulu was a nice addition to our current packing stock.
Lituya's Grandsire Anders Tobias was the first of our classic breeding program. We acquired Toby as a finished packer that had already achieved Master Packer status with PLTA. Toby was also used for hunting and extensive pack trips. There is no other llama with the work ethic, stamina, athleticism and structure in the packing world. We walked Toby into the showring for the first time at age 12. That day he walked out with two Grand Champions and this was in the day when the classes had much woollier animals mixed with classics. Over the years we continued to show Toby and earned many grands in halter and performance with him and eventually he got his ALSA Halter Championship. He was the ONLY classic male that is an ALSA Halter Champion and PLTA Master Packer. At age 25.5, Toby was still active, sound and breeding till the day he died! A testament to his genetics and overall strength. We have retained three of his daughters for use in our program. Many offspring are registered therapy llamas with Pet Partners and even grand offspring are now registered as well. Two offspring are driving in cart and there are many many packers sired by Toby.
Lituya's Grandmother Rocky Mountain Inca's Legacy Lady was the 2007 ALSA National Reserve Grand Champion Light Wool Female. Her half brother by the same dam was also National Reserve that year. Legacy was an ALSA Halter Champion and an ILR finished Halter Champion. This female was a very nice representation of a classic pack llama and cherry picked her out of a herd of 140 llamas! She was bred by the famed Rocky Mountain Llamas program owned by Bobra Goldsmith.
The 2021 full sister (JNK Huxley's Zaltana) to Lituya won five Grand Champions in halter at her first shows! Since then she has been winning in GA for her new owners and they love her. Zaltana is a finished ALSA Halter Champion and is currently working on her PLTA packing titles.
Name Origin: Lituya Mountain is a peak in the Fairweather Range of Alaska, United States, south of Mount Fairweather. Its eastern slopes feed a branch of the Johns Hopkins Glacier, which flows into Glacier Bay. On its western side is a large cirque, shared with Mount Fairweather, Mount Quincy Adams, and Mount Salisbury, which heads the Fairweather Glacier; this flows almost to the Pacific coast at Cape Fairweather. The Lituya Glacier flows from the south side of the mountain into Lituya Bay on the Pacific coast.

Cinca is literally the DREAM cross. People that own this pairing are obsessed with them as they are smart, beautiful, mellow, easy to work with and have good conformation with a strong rear end for work. All of them have a super short classic coat to boot! Don't take our word for it, talk to the happy owners of her siblings. As everyone else has enjoyed this cross, we felt it was time we got one too! Dad is 14 and mom will be 15 this year
This is the 9th of our tried and true JNK x JNK bred parents. She is so sweet and mellow. and as a bonus, she is a complete outcross from most of what is available for packing stock. A purpose bred llama with a proven history of packing, driving, therapy work, 100% classic coat history, showring winning conformation/performance/ Coat-On wins, etc.. Many generation of working animals went into making this baby.
The sire is our ILR SD/UAP Halter Champion classic pack male, JNK Cayetano. Cayetano has completed several legs of his PLTA advanced packers certifications and is a complex registered therapy llama with Pet Partners. He has also won over 30 grand champions in halter in real shows. Cay is a four time Halter Best of Show winner as well! At the 2022 March Madness Show that is the largest in the country, he not only won the Rookie class but was double Grand Champion Classic/Light Wool Male. Cay is an amazing packer and therapy llama too! We use him to volunteer in end stage hospice therapy work and most recently, he has started to drive as well! Cayetano ended 2024 by winning double novice performance out of 32 llamas without practicing or competing in it ever. At the last show of 2024 he won double Best of Show Male and double senior youth performance with a special young man. This male is the real deal of all around excelling llamas!
Cayetano is by a PLTA Master Packer (MPL Sky Rocket) and out of one of our very best producing classic females (Rocky Mountain Sunshine).
Kalosi is a keeper in our herd and by our supreme producing foundation pack male, MPL Anders Tobias. Toby had the strongest rear end we have ever seen on a pack llama. He also has the best work ethic and stamina of any llama we have seen besides Isle Eagle (our foundation woolly herdsire). In addition to being an ALSA Halter Champion, he was a PLTA Master Packer. Toby lived to be a healthy 25 years old and was sound until the day he died, even siring a baby at age 24! Kalosi is an absolute sweetheart and loves a good hug and butt scratch from you! She also loves water and dances in the hose when offered the opportunity. Kalosi has easy births and loads of milk. We showed Kalosi a few times and she did really well winning Halter Grands and Bred and Owned. This female is a farm favorite and we have had many offers to sell her.
Arriving with a birth weight at 40.2 lbs, Cinca was up and nursing immediately. The first week after her birth, she gained a pound a day! The 2016 full brother was 38lbs at birth and is now in Colorado packing. The 2017 full brother is part of the Redwood Llamas breeding/packing program in Colorado. The 2019 female from this cross is in Washington and is being used for packing, showing and therapy work. She is already almost a finished halter champion! The 2020 sibling is in Colorado and will be packing when of age. The 2021 sibling will be packing, showing and doing therapy work. The 2022 sibling is being used in a day hike program and will be overnight packing when he is old enough. The 2023 model is with the winner of season six of the TV show Alone.
Cinca is from some of the longtime packing greats that are from long established breeding programs. The owners of her previous siblings absolutely love this cross. They are all easy going, correct, steady on the trail and therapy llama sweet. Several are already complex registered therapy llamas like their dad. Many are winning in halter and performance too! This is a really good cross for the ultimate pack/therapy/show llama. They literally come out of the womb loving water too! Her big sister Civetta was Best of Show in the summer of 2024.
We are planning on keeping Cinca unless someone offers us enough money to not make it hurt for her to leave. This cross always sells right away, but it is time we kept one for ourselves.
Name origin: Cinca is a play off Cinco. Given that she was born on Cinco De Mayo, it seemed like an obvious choice. We also found this information on it: Meaning of #cinca In Spain it is the name of a river of the Province of Huesca. Name of a valley on this same river. The river is born in the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. .. cinca

The river is born in the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. .. cinca

Gevalia has also been a Complex registered therapy llama in the past and for several years, Gevalia was a youth 4H project. They did well in performance and skills classes as a team. Because of this, we waited to breed her until she was older. This is Gevalia's fifth offspring. Gevalia is close to being an ILR Dam of Distinction and her dam already holds that title.
Grandsire is our many times Halter Champion (ILR/ALSA) and Best of Show Halter Winner Marisco. He is one of only a handful of llamas that have earned an ILR Herdsire of Distinction title.
