2020 JNK Llama Babies
It is always a long wait when you are watching for the babies to come. Knowing you carefully matched a sire and dam and what that perfect match potentially will cria't. This result should be the epitome of what you are breeding toward after careful and strategic planning. We continue to be blessed with beautiful animals and wonderful buyers!
JNK Cayetano's Valhalla (F)
ILR#294034
JNK Cayetano x JNK Tobias's Kalosi
DOB 3/18/20
***Congrats to Manuel & Vivianita Montoya***
This young female is the fourth of our JNK x JNK bred parents. Her sire is our classic pack male, JNK Cayetano. Cayetano has completed several legs of his PLTA Advanced certifications and is a complex registered therapy llama with Pet Partners. He has also won over 29 grand champions in halter in real shows. Cay is a double Halter Best of Show winner to boot!
Cayetano is by a PLTA Master Packer (MPL Sky Rocket) and out of one of our very best producing classic females (Rocky Mountain Sunshine). Grandma produced many of our keeper herd animals and was a show and regional champion winner in halter. Her sire (great grandsire to this baby) was the great, Rocky Mountain Jester who was a packer, driver and all around llama. Great grandma, Bett's Supaya lived to be 24 and was upright and still going strong until the end.
Kalosi is a keeper in our herd and by our supreme producing pack male, MPL Anders Tobias. Toby had the strongest rear end we have ever seen on a pack llama. He also has the best work ethic and stamina of any llama we have seen besides Isle Eagle (our foundation woolly herdsire). Toby lived to be a healthy 25 years old and was sound until the day he died. On top of all this, Kalosi is an absolute sweetheart and loves a good hug and butt scratch from you! She also loves water and dances in the hose when offered the opportunity. We showed Kalosi a few times and she did really well winning Halter Grands and Bred and Owned.
Arriving with a birth weight at 31.2 lbs, this sweet girl was up and nursing immediately. The first week after her birth, she gained 1+lbs a day! Her 2016 full brother was 38lbs at birth and is now in Colorado hiking. The 2017 full brother is part of the Redwood Llamas breeding program in Colorado. The 2019 female from this cross is in Washington and will be used for packing and therapy work.
Name Origin-
Valhalla Peak is a modest summit located in the Olympic National Forest and can be reached via the Tunnel Creek Trailhead or via Dosewallips Road.

Complex Registered Pet Partners Therapy Llama
Tika is one of our very smartest llamas. She is also one of the mellowest ones we own! As one of Niki's previous performance llamas, she consistently shined in the showring. She also won a lot in halter (ILR & ALSA Halter Champion) before being retired to make stellar halter/performance llamas for our farm.
This guy has several full siblings that have done extremely well in various capacities. This is one of our most consistent performance lines and to top it off, they LOVE water! They mature out to be beautiful and stretchy adults.
This young male is a lovely rose grey and a first for our farm. His sire is our consistent producing halter, performance and therapy male Marisco. Grandsires to the baby are national winners in halter and performance! One is a two time national winner in halter and the other was the top driving, packing, therapy and show llama of all time! He won nationals in driving and performance when the classes were huge!

JNK Rosario's Raffinata (F)
ILR#294320
Fino Chilean Rosario x JNK Normandie's Gevalia
DOB 9/12/20
***SOLD Congrats John & Debby Gremmels***
This promising young female is from some of our very best lines. The dam is owned by Terry & Sandra Spekreijse of NZ.
The sire to this female is a two time ALSA National Champion and back when the classes were full competition. Fino Chilean Rosario is a full Chilean male that hails from the Tillman breeding program. An ALSA Halter & Get of Sire Champion and regional champion in halter, Rosario also has very fine fiber. Even into his late teens, his fiber consistently is winning top awards.
JNK Normandie's Gevalia is an ILR SD/UAP Halter Champion with lots of performance experience. We pulled her out in 2019 and showed her at our regional show where, she took double grand champion and Western Championship Show Champion Light/Medium Wool Female. Gevalia has also been a Complex registered therapy llama in the past and for several years, Gevalia was a youth 4H project. They did well in performance and skills classes as a team. Because of this, we waited to breed her until she was older. This is Gevalia's second offspring.
Grandsire is our many times Halter Champion (ILR/ALSA) and Best of Show Halter Winner Marisco. Marisco is a full Peruvian son of two time National ALSA Halter Champion *Sipan. In addition to being correct, Marisco has been a Complex registered therapy llama since 2006! In 2018, Marisco won Double Best of Show and Regional High Point at age 17! He won again in 2018 with two Double Grands in Moderate Heavy Wool and was Western Championship Show Champion Moderate Heavy Wool Male at age 18.
Grand dam is our former top producing woolly female we bought from the famed Bauernheim Llamas herd, Bros Normandie. Normandie produced many champions in halter and performance. She also produced three therapy llamas. Normandie kids have consistently cleaned up in the showring and been stellar producers! Normandie was a many times Production Pair and Produce of Dam winner!
We haven't decided what we are doing with this young female yet. She is very correct and would make a great therapy/show llama.
UPDATE: Raffinata pulled a grand her first time out in halter!
