Khyber is the sixth of our tried and true JNK x JNK bred parents. The sire is our ILR SD/UAP Halter Champion classic pack male, JNK Cayetano. Cayetano has completed several legs of his PLTA advanced packers certifications and is a complex registered therapy llama with Pet Partners. He has also won over 30 grand champions in halter in real shows. Cay is a double Halter Best of Show winner to boot! At the 2022 March Madness Show that is the largest in the country, he not only won the Rookie class but was double Grand Champion Classic/Light Wool Male. Cay is an amazing packer and therapy llama too! We use him to volunteer in end stage hospice therapy work.
Cayetano is by a PLTA Master Packer (MPL Sky Rocket) and out of one of our very best producing classic females (Rocky Mountain Sunshine). Grandma produced many of our keeper herd animals and was a show and regional champion winner in halter. Her sire (great grandsire to this baby) was the great, Rocky Mountain Jester who was a packer, driver and all around llama. Great grandma, Bett's Supaya lived to be 24 and was upright and still going strong until the end.
Kalosi is a keeper in our herd and by our supreme producing pack male, MPL Anders Tobias. Toby had the strongest rear end we have ever seen on a pack llama. He also has the best work ethic and stamina of any llama we have seen besides Isle Eagle (our foundation woolly herdsire). In addition to being an ALSA Halter Champion, he was a PLTA Master Packer. Toby lived to be a healthy 25 years old and was sound until the day he died, even siring a baby at age 24! On top of all this, Kalosi is an absolute sweetheart and loves a good hug and butt scratch from you! She also loves water and dances in the hose when offered the opportunity. We showed Kalosi a few times and she did really well winning Halter Grands and Bred and Owned. Kalosi has easy births and loads of milk.
Arriving with a birth weight at 33 lbs, this male was up and nursing immediately. The first week after his birth, he gained 1.5 lbs a day! His 2016 full brother was 38lbs and is now in Colorado hiking. The 2017 full brother is part of the Redwood Llamas breeding/packing program in Colorado. The 2019 female from this cross is in Washington and is being used for packing, showing and therapy work. She is already almost a finished halter champion! The 2020 sibling is in Colorado and will be packing when of age. The 2021 sibling will be packing, showing and doing therapy work.
Name Origin- The Khyber Pass (Pashto: د خيبر دره, romanized: Da Khyber Darah [də xaɪbər dara]) is a mountain pass in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, on the border with the Nangarhar Province of Afghanistan. It connects the town of Landi Kotal to the Valley of Peshawar at Jamrud by traversing part of the White Mountains. Since it was part of the ancient Silk Road, it has been a vital trade route between Central Asia and the Indian subcontinent and a strategic military choke point for various states that controlled it. The Khyber Pass is considered one of the most famous mountain passes in the world.[1]
This male is very kind and sweet. Ascari has heavy bone and dense curled fiber. It is going to be fun to see him as he matures! There are many many halter, performance and fleece winners in this pedigree. Additionally, many Pet Partners registered therapy llamas too!
This baby is by our senior woolly herdsire Marisco. Marisco is an ALSA & ILR Halter Champion, many times Best of Show Male and Complex Registered Therapy Llama with Pet Partners (since 2006). His offspring are all over the country and have won top honors in halter and performance. In addition, he has many offspring that are registered for therapy work! Marisco is a kind soul in and out of the showring. In 2018, he won Double Best of Show and Western Region Overall Champion Male at age 17. In 2019 he was Double Grand Champion Moderate Heavy Wool Male at age 18! We use him to do hospice work and other therapy visits in addition to breeding.
The dam of of this woolly beauty is our JNK Huaycool's Rosabella. Born on our farm, Rosabella is one of our most successful show, performance and therapy llamas we have produced. She is an ALSA and ILR Halter Champion and ILR Performance Champion. She is a Complex Registered Therapy Llama with Pet Partners as well. Rosabella is one of the sweetest and kindest llamas we own besides Marisco. Her nickname is "The dog" because of her puppy dog friendly attitude. Rosabella's first three full sibling sons by Marisco all won in halter at their first shows. The first born full sibling Rustamone is an ILR Halter Champion. This cross has won fleece awards too!
Paternal grandsire is the famous *Sipan. Imported in 1997, he went on to become an ALSA Halter Champion, ALSA Get of Sire ROM and two time ALSA National Champion in halter. The second time at age sixteen. Shown and imported by Hinterland Llamas.
Maternal grandsire is Huaycool (*Huaycho x *Heylee) who was purchased at the Hinterland dispersal in 2010 for use on our Eagle and Marisco daughters. Huaycool was an ALSA Halter ROM & Champion and producer of numerous halter and performance winners. He also produced many Pet Partners Registered Therapy Llamas and was so gentle a two year old could lead him.
The maternal Grandmother to this female was our very best producing woolly female Bros Normandie. Normandie (formerly owned by Bauernheim Llamas) created halter and performance champions every time she gave birth. She also made three Pet Partners Complex Registered Therapy Llamas too! Normandie was a Legend's Rammas granddaughter, which is the same line that gave us Isle Eagle (the top show llama of all time). Her sire was an English import named *Union Jack. Normandie's Produce of Dam and Production Pair (2 offspring from the same dam) entries won nearly every time they were entered. Her descendants have won top honors in fleece as well.
*El Fuerte is this male's full Peruvian great grandsire. After researching, we realized that in a short production, he has produced more winning llama descendants than any other line in history. An ALSA National Get of Sire Champion and ALSA Get of Sire Champion and ROM recipient. One of Hinterland's most prepotent and recognized lines.
How could anybody go wrong with a pedigree this strong?

This pairing was anxiously awaited by many of the people that know my main lines and animals. Vezzana arrived on day 365 of her mother's gestation. A beautiful and short coated classic too from elite all around packers, drivers, show and classic llamas!
Razz is a 3rd generation packer line female. Our friends Mark and Lori were no longer breeding and at almost age 14 they sold her to us. We were all unsure what that would look like breeding a 14 year old maiden. To our delight she settled within the month and into her new life here at JNK. Everyone that comes to our farm comments on how beautiful Razz is and we agree. As a bonus, she was loved and handled making her so nice to deal with. Razz has packed, ties out and is easy to deal with. She comes from a long line of proven packers, drivers and all around nice classic llamas. We dragged Raz out to her first show at age 15.5 and she pulled a grand in classic female class with a full division!
Supaya hailed from some of the Redwood Llamas original pack lines. Cayetano is a finished ILR Halter Champion with many grands to his name! He is also a proven and amazing pack llama.
Grandsire Robbie D was on our list of lines we wanted to add. He resided in the Lolo Creek herd pack program in Montana and was a proven packer. Some of his offspring reside in other pack programs around the country. Grand dam Boogie Woogie was a proven packer and driver as well. Great grand dam was a packer and driver as well. Great grandsire to this baby was Jim Logan's driving/halter/performance llama Apollo One. One of the original ALSA Champions.
This is a genetic powerhouse for anyone who does cool things with llamas. She is slated to go to a connoisseur of fine classics.

Name Origin: Vezzana Cima di Vezzana
Italy Parent range Pala group, Dolomites
The Vezzana (also Cima di Vezzana) is the highest peak in the Pala group, a mountain range of the Dolomites, northern Italy. It is located in the northern part of the Dolomites, between the Taibon Agordino and Primiero comunes of Belluno and Trentino. It has an altitude of 3,192 metres. The peak is flanked by that of the Cimon della Pala. It was first ascended in 1872 by Douglas William Freshfield and Charles Comyns Tucker, who reached it from the Travignolo glacier and the Passo di Travignolo. Unusual for the time, they climbed the summit without local guides, as these had declined to go further at reaching the glacier[2]

Tika the dam to Azriel is one of our very smartest llamas. She is also one of the mellowest ones we own! As one of Niki's previous performance/halter llamas, she consistently shined in the showring. She also won a lot in halter (ILR Halter Champion and one grand from an ALSA Halter Champion) before being retired to make stellar halter/performance llamas for our farm. Tika has three offspring that have become Pet Partners therapy llamas. One of our very favorite females in our herd.
The sire to this beautiful young male is our consistent producing halter, performance, fiber and therapy male Marisco. Grandsires (*Sipan & Isle Eagle) to the baby are national winners in halter and performance! *Sipan a two time national winner in halter and Isle Eagle was the top driving, packing, therapy and show llama of all time! He won nationals in driving and performance when the classes were huge!
This guy has several full siblings that have done extremely well in various capacities. This is one of our most consistent performance/halter/therapy/fiber lines and to top it off, they LOVE water! All have matured to be beautiful, smart and stretchy adults.

DOB 8/16/22
***Sold Congrats Christine***
This promising young male is from some of our very best lines. The dam is owned by Terry & Sandra Spekreijse of NZ.
The sire to this female is a two time ALSA National Champion and back when the classes were full competition. Fino Chilean Rosario is a full Chilean male that hails from the Tillman breeding program. An ALSA Halter & Get of Sire Champion and regional champion in halter, Rosario also has very fine fiber. Even into his late teens, his fiber consistently is winning top awards.
JNK Normandie's Gevalia is an ILR SD/UAP Halter Champion with lots of performance experience. We pulled her out in 2019 and showed her at our regional show where, she took double grand champion and Western Championship Show Champion Light/Medium Wool Female. Gevalia has also been a Complex registered therapy llama in the past and for several years, Gevalia was a youth 4H project. They did well in performance and skills classes as a team. Because of this, we waited to breed her until she was older. This is Gevalia's third offspring.
Grandsire is our many times Halter Champion (ILR/ALSA) and Best of Show Halter Winner Marisco. Marisco is a full Peruvian son of two time National ALSA Halter Champion *Sipan. In addition to being correct, Marisco has been a Complex registered therapy llama since 2006! In 2018, Marisco won Double Best of Show and Regional High Point at age 17! He won again in 2018 with two Double Grands in Moderate Heavy Wool and was Western Championship Show Champion Moderate Heavy Wool Male at age 18.
Grand dam is our former top producing woolly female we bought from the famed Bauernheim Llamas herd, Bros Normandie. Normandie produced many champions in halter and performance. She also produced three therapy llamas. Normandie kids have consistently cleaned up in the showring and been stellar producers! Normandie was a many times Production Pair and Produce of Dam winner! Recently, Normandie became one of only a handful of females to be an ILR Dam of Distinction.
The oldest half sister JNK Huaycool's Ferrara (Huaycool x JNK Normandie's Gevalia) is an ILR UAP/SD finished Halter Champion.
The full sister to this male is JNK Rosario's Raffinata who pulled a grand her first time out in halter! To date she has three Grand Champions in halter.
Meaning of the name: Sion
originally a stronghold captured by David (the 2nd king of the Israelites); above it was built a temple and later the name extended to the whole hill; finally it became a synonym for the city of Jerusalem.

Another home run from this pairing that has that attention demanding presence. Fappani's older brother "Serenity Park's Ramazon" is a many times show winner (45+ Grands/Reserves & 15+ Best of Show Titles) and in our opinion the very essence of what a good/correct llama should look like! He is a finished ALSA & ILR Halter Champion. ILR finished Performance Champion too! He is also a third generation driving llama on the dam side (both her sire and dam side drove) and is an excellent packer!
Sire is our many times Halter Champion (ILR/ALSA) and Best of Show Halter Winner Marisco. Marisco is a full Peruvian son of two time National ALSA Halter Champion *Sipan. In addition to being correct, Marisco has been a Complex registered therapy llama since 2006! Marisco won Double Best of Show and Regional High Point at age 17! In 2019 he took double grand champion at age 18 and would have been showing in 2020 and 2021, but the shows we attend were all cancelled but one.
This young females dam Kestrel is owned by our NZ friends Terry & Sandra Spekreijse. She has produced champion after champion every year. Kestrel is a halter and performance winner. She also is an accomplished driving llama!
Grandsire to this female is our Isle Eagle. Eagle was the top show and driving llama of all time. Additionally, Eagle was an accomplished packer and therapy llama. Eagle is one of only two ALSA Breeder Elite titled llamas in the world. He also was a 4x National Driving Champion when classes were full with competition. Eagle daughters are the basis of our woolly program and we have swept shows every year with their descendants. Many people seek this line too for their brains and driving abilities.
Other greats in this line were drivers, ALSA Champions, packers, therapy animals and much more!
The 2018 sibling to this male, Rialto, won in halter and fleece his first show out at 5 months! He is now a complex registered therapy llama with Pet Partners. Big brother Murano is a finished ILR Halter Champion and Pet Partners registered therapy llama. His other big brother Kalahari has won in halter and is now a registered therapy llama as well with Pet Partners. Three full siblings are registered therapy llamas!
Pretty much every llama in this pedigree drives, wins in the showring, does performance, has beautiful fine fiber, does therapy work and is just an all around AMAZING llama! Many of the full siblings to this cross are around the country in other breeding/showing programs.
This young male is Niki's new performance, halter and driving prospect.
Meaning of the name: After watching a reining competition and with our love of Italian names, we decided to name our next male Fappani after Andrea Fappani. As a serious competitor and trainer, this seemed like a fitting name for this baby destined for greatness.
Born and raised in Italy, Andrea Fappani followed his dream of becoming one of the all-time leading trainers in Reining-world wide. His focus and passion for excellence not only made him the youngest NRHA Million Dollar Rider, but have put him at the top of the charts as a teacher, clinician and advocate of pursuing exceptional horsemanship. His Reining DVD’s have outsold all others- designed and produced to teach the details of training Reining horses as well as to maintain them at a high level for optimum performance in the show pen. It was Andrea’s desire and commitment to excel as a student of horsemanship that allowed him to develop such early success in his career. His enthusiasm and love for the sport and the horse is evident in his style of teaching and producing materials that allow others the opportunity to continue to develop better skills and results.
