Huxley is the result of a carefully planned breeding between two pack style llamas with very old bloodlines. This was done with the hope we would get an athletic classic male with good conformation and a quiet mind. We knew that getting a male from two 19 year old llamas was a slim chance. Imagine our happiness and relief when a healthy male was born!
To our delight, Huxley not only looks exactly like his sire but, he has Sulu's even keel and sweet disposition! He has been a perfect match with our Toby daughters.
Huxley's first two daughters were both exceptionally well balanced with personable dispositions and smarts to match their good looks. One of them became an ALSA Halter Champion in a short time and the other was a Best of Show Female & Pet Partners Complex registered therapy llama. Huxley now has five offspring on the ground and the buyers of them have been extremely happy with their dispositions and overall quality.
In 2019, Niki and her friend Jessica both got registered with Huxley for Pet Partners therapy work. Huxley passed with a Complex rating and perfect score on his evaluations! Now Huxley is registered with our friend Kathy and Niki.
