Fappani is exactly what you would expect from the 9th pairing of this consistent cross. This exceptional cross has created so many halter and performance winners, it is sought out by people that love to do everything with their llamas.
His sire is our many times Best of Show male, Marisco. A full Peruvian male from straight Hinterland breeding.
His dam is a performance and halter winning Eagle daughter CMF Eagle's Kestrel. She is one of a handful of ILR Dams of Distinction too. His grandsires (*Sipan and Isle Eagle) are both many time champions (nationally too) and his grandsire is the great *El Fuerte. Great grandpa was an ALSA Champion and driving llama too in the early days. Grandsire Isle Eagle was one of the only two ALSA Elite Champions ever and top driving llama of all time. He was also a longtime therapy llama with Delta Society and a PLTA Master Packer.
Driving is in Fappani's blood, his mom, two full brothers, grandsire, great grandsire and dam's side aunts/uncles are all exceptional driving llamas.
We expect great things from this young male. If he isn't a total package llama, we will be shocked. His big brother is a many times halter and best of show winner that drives, shows, packs and he even does performance. Big brother Serenity Park's Ramazon is an ALSA/ILR Halter champion and ILR Performance Champion. Other full siblings are national winners in halter.
Fappani's big brother's JNK Marisco's Murano (Munson), Serenity Park's Ramazon (Spekreijse) and JNK Marisco's Kalahari (Murray) are all finished ILR Halter Champions.
Fappani will be showing and starting performance as we begin training him.
Origin of the name: Andrea Fappani is a famous Italian pro reiner star. Jeff loves anything related to reining and roping of horses and we always name our woolly babies with Italian names. After admiring Andrea in a television show, we decided we would name a special baby Fappani.
